Tripwire License: UCLA saves big on change management software

What do you want from IT? Almost everyone wants to increase availability, lower costs, and reduce operational risk. The University of California has recently established an agreement with Tripwire for the purchase of its change monitoring and analysis software. Tripwire software provides visibility into service-affecting changes while reducing trouble-shooting time and enabling rapid discovery and recovery. This agreement is part of the University's ongoing strategic sourcing efforts which enable individual campuses to maximize the use of limited funds.

According to John DeGolyer, the UCLA IT Security Architect, "Tripwire adds another tool that enhances UCLA's 'defense-in-depth' approach for IT security."

UCLA Software Central is now able to make the products covered by this three year agreement available to UCLA departments at a discount of 73% off standard educational pricing. Further details on how your department can participate in this agreement is available on their website.
