Podcasting Classrooms

At the start of Fall Quarter, the Office of Instructional Development (OID) will have six classrooms that are equipped for semi-automated podcasting. The lectures in these rooms can be captured and posted to the course web page within a short period after class :

They plan to have 20 rooms by the beginning of Winter quarter. All podcast rooms will be identified as such on the OID/AVS website, as well as with signage at the classroom itself.

Wireless at the Libraries

With the installation of wireless capability in the Arts Library last week, all of the UCLA system libraries (excluding the Law and Medical Libraries) now have wireless in all public spaces. See the BOL coverage map for the latest information on wireless on campus.

CLICC Upgrades

The College Library Instructional Computing Commons (CLICC) in Powell Library has upgraded machines and classrooms for fall. They are also developing a configurable laptop lounge. You can now borrow CLICC laptops at seven campus libraries.
