IT Contingency Planning for the Campus Closure |

Many IT operations on campus provide 24 hour by 7 day services. The closure of the campus from December 23rd through January 1st will affect those services, but contingency plans are in place to provide standard processing and to respond in case of an emergency. The Administrative Information Systems Data Center will be staffed to support daily processing and printing, including scheduling. Applications staff will be on-call for problem resolution. Communications Technology Services (CTS) plans to provide all usual business functions. Bruin OnLine (BOL) will be open on a reduced schedule, which will be posted on the BOL website, in mid-December. If you require support or services from your organization, or from a central campus service, contact them early to verify what will be available to you or to make special arrangements since power outages may affect service availability. |
